Damnation Threads Timeline (After 6th April 2019 Reboot)

1514- The former and present (at the time) Lieutenants of the 11th division held a meeting at a fountain to reminisce about old times before adjourning to Ma’kine’s shop where she assisted Lt Baozhai in developing Shunko.

2019

Apr 27-  Shinigami go shopping. Acquaintances are made. The Captain Commander turns up with her (entourage) and Lieutenant to pay a visit to Kido Chief Ma’kine. They chat about the social conventions of clothing, and Ma’kine provides Lt Molly with sweets. The Kido Chief’s absence at recent meetings are also discussed, as are security details; but discussions are interrupted by the captain of squad 3’s unexpected appearance. His sudden presence sets a few of the entourage on edge, and leaves lingering impressions on Lt Molly.

Apr 30- The Quincy Weiss decides to explore Karakura, gathering and storing spirit energy for later distillation into a healing tincture.

May 31- The fullbringer known as Scholar creates an artificial humanoid golem from dead matter despite her Ouroboros patron’s disapproval. Another fullbringer named Melinda wanders around seeking the first. They meet, and Scholar concludes her work on the construct.

Jun 20- Ma’kine hosts a competition between the Gotei and her own Kido Corps under the pretext of training. Four of her team remain standing against four Gotei contenders, including the third squad captain. It is uncertain which side eventually won the tournament.

Sep 1-  The blind Quincy Weiss accidentally finds herself in Seireitei, somehow going astray from the Shadows. Fortunately she did not stand out and managed to reorient herself without getting into trouble.

Sep 2-  A three way altercation occured between Weiss, a Shinigami and a trio of fullbringers. Weiss obtained first blood, succeeding in crippling her Shinigami opponent and leaving him with one arm. The Fullbringer Melinda’s life was endangered during the skirmish and she instinctively converted reserves of spirit energy into heat, igniting the skin that was the source of her powers. Resulting fallout of the energy conversion significantly damaged all individuals present, necessitating a strategic retreat from the area.

Sep 30- Kido Chief Ma’kine attempts a complicated conjuring to determine the whereabouts of her daughter Va’tet. When her spell to track a reincarnated soul yields no results she concludes that barring interference from Hollow or Quincy, Va’tet might be alive. Commander Baozhai is drawn by the disturbances and learns of the extent that the Kido Chief will go to seek her relation.

Oct 9-  Captain Ghost hosts a party to honour his new Lieutenant with Ma’kine as caterer. Spurred by festivities, Captain Ghost proposes an expedition to Hueco Mundo with his Lieutenant. Kido-Chief Ma’kine decides to come along, none too assured by the 10th Captain’s confidence. Together they encounter the deposed Hollow Queen Slazzel, one who nurses a grudge against Ghost’s ancestor. Ma’kine’s attempts at negotiation with Slazzel are foiled by the 10th Division Captain’s bluster. The Captain advocates slaying Slazzel and removing a problem before it can threaten the Gotei. Slazzel is unimpressed at what she learns of the treaty and makes the first move, succeeding in tripping Ma’kine. Captain Ghost releases shikai to assist. Slazzel launches a cero at Lt Zenobia, which is intercepted by Ghost’s Bankai. Zenobia releases her own shikai. Ma’kine uses Bakudo 99 on Slazzel to distract her, giving orders for her companions to retreat. Captain Ghost attacks instead, forcing Ma’kine to escalate into Bankai. Zenobia is downed by Slazzel’s kick, and Ghost sends his Bankai at the hollow in the form of a giant serpent only to have her dodge. Slazzel enters a void portal to evade Ma’kine’s attack. Both captain and Lieutenant finally decide to retreat, doing so with kido assistance from Ma’kine. Falling unconscious from the effort she exerted, Ma’kine is disarmed by the victorious Slazzel and left to her fate. She is later found by the Arrancar Marcela who transports Ma’kine to her lair.

Nov 11 - Following the skirmish in September, Scholar consults her superior the Ouroboros in healing Melinda.

Nov 11- Meanwhile, Melinda awakes in a lab hospital within Daedalus and encounters Jordan. Her attempts to lewd the Dragon’s subordinate are semi-successful, making certain assessments inconclusive. The dual souls comprising Melinda have been divided; with the portion that was once Linda now housed in a new body.

Dec 4-  In the aftermath of her defeat Ma’kine meets Theresa and stays with her. A conversation she has with the arrancar Theresa alerts her to the existence of Va’tet. During her stay with Theresa, it is discovered that Hollow meat disagrees with Shinigami. Ma’kine shares a hunting technique with Theresa, intending to bide her time before investigating her link to Va'tet.

Dec 7-  Shinigami Judai attempts to navigate through the alleys of Seiretei. Though late, he is eventually successful in arriving at his destination.

2020

Jan2 2020-  turning to Hollows as a source of food, Ma’kine seals her conversion into a Hollow by usurping her zanpakuto’s power and killing Barranst. She is reborn as a two headed, six winged avian Hollow of white bone and fire.

Jan6 2020 –  Hollowfied, ex-officer Ma’kine begins her rampage above the eastern Rukon district. Hollow-Ma’kine shrugs off Commander Baozhai’s 90s-level Hado. Part of Rukongai is damaged when Baozhai reflected the Hollow’s follow-up Cero. Captain Ghost is next at the scene, followed by Captain Oshime. Commander Baozhai obtained superficial injuries repelling the Hollow’s tail attacks with Bakudo. The same attack creates a crack in Ghost’s zanpakuto. Captain Oshime casts Bakudo #79 at the creature with the intention of pinning it in place for Commander Baozhai, but it proved unsuccessful. From the Hollow’s monologue, Commander Baozhai recognizes it as ex-kido Chief Ma’kine and enters her shikai. In light of events Captain Ghost makes a tactical retreat, conjuring rain clouds in preparation for a new strike. Ma’kine issues a challenge to the war-criminal Isao, engaging the commander in combat. Captain Oshime launches Hado #99 and manages to wound Ma’kine in the torso and wings just as the Hollow releases its own cero at Ghost, who is slain in the line of duty. Commander Baozhai dismisses her shikai to avoid being dragged along in Ma’kine’s wake, then casts Hado #88. The demands of two high level spells inflicts a toll upon her. Captain Oshime retreats, creating a barrier against the Hollow and its targets. Stay Tuned.
