Character Requests
Advancing Your Character's Power and Story!

Some people don't get exactly what it is that they want when they first get approved, and trust me, we know that stinks and is unfortunate. However, it's neither the end of the world nor the end of the line, thankfully! As it is on all RolePlay sites, you may request an advancement of some kind! What exactly can be requested, though? Practically anything, honestly! To name a few...

A First Release if you chose to forgo one at Character Creation. You must link and relevant topics.
A Second Release if you were denied yours at Character Creation or if you have since earned it (or so you may think) through RolePlay. You must link any relevant topics.
(An) (A)dditional Stat Point(s) [singular or plural]; if you gain enough to reach the next Bracket, you may request the next Bracket (as well as be rewarded with the Perk Points that come with that Bracket). You must link any relevant topics.
(An) (A)dditional technique(s), provided you prove you earned them through RolePlay. You must link any relevant topics.
An item you created in-character that you want to have some sort of official function in the game world. You must link any relevant topics.
Hollowfication if you're a Shinigami. You must link any relevant topics.

Basically, what you are allowed to request is almost limitless, so long as you, the player and your character, are explicit in what it is that you want and are able to prove that you, the player and or your character deserve what it is you are requesting. It is determined, exactly, whether you deserve it or not by linking relevant topics which bring you further to whatever goal it is you are trying to reach (typically, that goal is whatever you are requesting). Whatever method you go about trying to achieve your goal is competely up to you, though we urge you to make it make sense; none of us wants to waste our time! Us on the administration who have to review your work and you, the player, for trying to submit and convince us of something you put little thought into. Though sometimes it has nothing to do with a lack of thought. Unfortunately, sometimes your method just doesn't cut it. We understand. There will be no consequences for a failed attempt. Only a solemn pat on the back and a hopeful, "Try again soon!" wish from us, the staff.

Links To Relevant Topics: (It would be helpful to add a description of each topic on your own. A sort of summary to synthesize what happened and why it is relevant. Us staff are still required to review the topics, the content and, arbitrarily most important, the quality of the writing, but it definitely doesn't hurt to give us a hand to that end.

After we review the topic and return to you with a verdict of either Approved or Denied, you are to, if applicable, return to the Character Creation Template and copy what it is you are requesting (if it is a First or Second Release) or perhaps the Technique Template (if you are creating a technique or an item [if you are a science-type character]). Basically, whatever it is you are requesting, you must follow up with the next logical step. All things are, even then, subject to approval. Being approved for your custom release, technique or item does not guarantee that the effects or content of the request are to be approved. They must still pass inspection!
