General Appearance: Alfred's default appearance is that of a tall hooded spectre dressed in a combination of loose garments and the haori of a 2nd Squad Captain. His entire 'body' is hidden from view by his robes and he is usually seen with arms folded/buried in the folds of his overlarge sleeves. Even up close, it is impossible to identify features of any kind under the cowl of his hood, other than his yellow eyes. Darkvision or very close inspection (unlikely) may reveal that Alfred lacks a mouth and that the complexion of his 'head' is alabaster white. He is sometimes seen with a nodachi blade (which people assume to be his zanpakuto), sheathed on his back.

The Psyche

Redeeming Qualities: Alfred is quiet and a good listener, due to his design. He also has a good memory and is meticulous in his duties.

Negative Qualities: Being an artificial intelligence, Alfred is prone to misunderstanding certain concepts and taking things literally at times. He is also known to be relentlessly singleminded in pursuit of objectives, regardless the cost incurred as a result.

Likes: Somewhat irrelevant, as Alfred is a machine. But he 'likes' his owner Shiroki; or at least as much as its possible for a machine to like something.

Dislikes: Similar to the above. Alfred dislikes obstacles that go against his programming or impede his current objectives, and redundant complexities.

Goals:
Long-term Goals: The mod-soul Alfred's primary objective is to assist and impersonate its owner Shiroki
                       : Its secondary objective is to ambush and challenge its owner to encourage combat readiness
Short-term Goals: In accordance with secondary objective, Alfred aspires to uncover and archive as many individual fighting styles as possible to add to its training modules.

General Personality: Alfred is a blank slate. Which is unsurprising since he is a machine. However, there have been times where he seems to display spontaneous mortal reactions--usually seen when assisting or spending time with his owner. His creator the 12th Squad Captain attributes these occasions as mere 'glitches in the matrix', not true indications of a living creature's range of emotion. The portions of personality that surface from time to time suggest that he might be patient, protective and snide--almost like a butler-guardian put in charge of a restless and mischievous kid. At times, Alfred has been seen to roll his eyes or express disapproval at his owner's antics.

Something Special: Alfred's construct 'body' serves dual purpose both as a gigai and as a 'suit' designed to fit a small child. When worn as a 'suit' the wearer's consciousness and capabilities override Alfred's core programming. In this manner, a wearer of the right 'size' can easily step into and assume Alfred's role/identity literally. When Shiroki makes use of Alfred in this way, he normally transfers the mod-soul in pill-form to a backup gigai for safekeeping.
Aside from the need to adapt to the height boost, the user is not limited otherwise and is able to use the full range of their normal capabilities while wearing the suit. While wearing the suit, they take on Alfred's appearance as an adult-sized humanoid; BUT are positioned in such a way in its framework that their actual vitals (head/brain, heart, major organs) are NOT located where they should be in a normal adult male. (E.g: Alfred's 'head' is just a decoy to draw attacks, with his processor located elsewhere in his design. Similarly, when used as a suit; Shiro's REAL head is located around the torso area...in a less obvious spot that most attackers will not think to aim for) This allows 'Alfred' to ignore numerous 'fatal' strikes in 'vital' areas without lasting consequences, and confuses his attackers.

Power Appearance: Built-in lights blink on or off on Alfred's body at will
Power Ability: Alfred has the ability to generate harmless lights upon and from his body, which he uses to simulate attacks he is unable to copy during training simulations. These lights are used to represent Kido, sword releases or any other non-physical attack/defense that Alfred is unable to copy directly. They come in a variety of colours and intensity to represent a wide range of possible opponent abilities. When tuned to their brightest setting, the lights may be capable of blinding/disorienting those who look at them directly.

Ability: Alfred has a large memory storage; in which he stores info collected on various people's fighting styles both with and without their knowledge. He has a standing directive to continue adding to this library whenever possible, and can draw upon these records to create training simulations against the target source. Due to processor memory limitations, he can only load one 'file' at a time and is unable to combine fight styles from two or more separate sources in a single simulation.

The Past
History: Alfred was designed and built by Captain Baozhai of the 12th Squad and originally intended both as a combat training dummy as well as a gigai for 2nd Squad Captain Sakanade. Its creation marked a historic alliance between Squads 2 and 12; a significant development given the reclusive tendencies traditionally held by each of them as a rule.
