The 99%

Humans are the living, sentient beings who naturally inhabit the World of the Living, also known as the Earth. They are as anyone would expect: humans. They have jobs, love lives and problems of their own. Most humans lack any sense of spiritual awareness, meaning they aren't capable of seeing spirits of any kind, be they Shinigami, Hollows, Arrancar or otherwise. Instead, they go about their business worrying about their own affairs and manage to keep out of the spiritual entities ways. However, exceptions to this do exist.

Humans are the most diverse species, making up the total 'sentient' population of the World of the Living. The Humans are the original sources of the Quincy and the Fullbringers. Most Hollows and Shinigami are also born from Humans. The unique thing about Humans is their ability to adapt to numerous environments.

Humans have the shortest lifespan, regardless of race, out of all the different Species. However, they also have the most potential for evolution and are the easiest group to impress or awaken new powers within. Humans can have children with any Species, though the child is more likely to be the same as the non-Human parent.
